What is RTT?Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®), pioneered by Marisa Peer, weaves together the most potent aspects of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT). What sets it apart is it's unique approach—delving into your subconscious mind to unearth the limiting beliefs that have been holding you back. These beliefs, formed long ago, operate silently beneath the surface, influencing behaviours that no longer serve you. Once identified, we embark on a journey of letting go, replacing those limiting beliefs with thoughts, images, and beliefs that empower you. It's important to note that during this process, you review but do not relive scenes. Your journey toward transformation is guided with care and empathy, ensuring a powerful and lasting shift in your mindset and consequently in your feelings and behaviour.

What is hypnosis?Entering a state of hypnosis, or what we commonly refer to as "being in trance," is akin to experiencing a profound sense of relaxation and ease. It's a natural mental state that we effortlessly move in and out of throughout our daily lives. Picture a moment during a meeting when you suddenly "snap back into the room," realizing your thoughts had momentarily wandered to your to-do list or evening plans – that's a trance state. During an hypnotherapy session, you remain fully aware, actively hearing my guidance, and maintaining awareness of your surroundings throughout the process, however, you can access your subconscious mind and therefore the root cause of your issue.

Do I lose control under Hypnosis? In hypnosis, there's no loss of control. It's simply a relaxed state, similar to when you're into a movie or casually walking. You stay aware of everything around you but can focus inward. You're always in charge, and exiting hypnosis is as easy as you'd like.

What if I can’t get hypnotised?Hypnosis is a natural state that we go into throughout the day, so you have already experienced this, probably without realising it. Everyone is different, so some people will go into trance more easily and deeper than others, however, how quickly or deeply you go into trance has no bearing on the success of the treatment.

Zoom or face to face?RTT works just as well using Zoom as it does in person. All you need is a reliable internet connection. I have actually found that my clients prefer their sessions online as they are more relaxed, being in the comfort of their own home, and can let the transformation sink in at their own pace afterwards.

Why should I choose RTT instead of CBT or psychotherapyRapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®) efficiently works with the subconscious mind, ensuring quicker and more effective results. By addressing the root cause of the issue, we will transform your limiting beliefs to grant you the freedom you deserve in 1 to 3 months, unlike most other method of therapies which can take years.

How is RTT different to regular hypnosisWhile both hypnotherapy and Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®) involve the use of hypnosis, RTT® is unique in its approach. RTT® combines hypnotherapy with techniques from psychotherapy, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and cognitive-behavioural therapy. The goal of RTT® is to achieve rapid and lasting transformation by identifying and addressing the root causes of your issues, often in just one to three sessions. It goes beyond traditional hypnotherapy by integrating various therapeutic modalities for a comprehensive and effective approach to healing.

How does stage hypnotism compare to hypnotherapy?Stage hypnotists thoroughly vet their participants beforehand – they choose extroverts who want to perform on the stage and who would not embarrass themselves or the hypnotist by not playing along. Since hypnosis cannot make someone do something they do not want to do, the participant subconsciously wants to do as the hypnotist asks and play along. Although this can demonstrate the power of hypnosis, it differs from hypnotherapy in a number of ways. Hypnotherapy aims to get to the root cause of your issue or problem, and I work with you to empower you and help you make these changes. Your best interests are always at heart, and your integrity is of the utmost importance, and you are always in control of what you do and say.
